MY APPROACH

My approach does not dwell on measuring calories, carbs, fats, and proteins. It does not create a list of restrictions or good and bad foods. Instead, I work with you to create an individualized program based on the principals of functional nutrition and the ancient healing practices of Ayurveda, which is designed to discover the foods that work for your unique body and to create a lifestyle platform that promotes long-term health. This is not about deprivation or quick fixes but about lasting changes that creates a foundation for you to come into alignment with the best version of yourself. If you’re ready to say yes to life. It starts with food. This is not a starve yourself skinny and count every calorie type of plan. I am not that kind of coach. I’ve tried that method and it just doesn’t work. I’m guessing you have too. I create a personalized program that radically improves your health and happiness. It’s not a one-size-fits-all approach. Together, we will explore specific concerns to your unique body, look at possible food allergies and deficiencies, analyze foods you need to fuel your lifestyle and develop the tools you need for a lifetime of balance.

Next we’ll look at all the habits in your life that may unknowingly affect your food choices to create a routine that better serves you. Does stress at your job or in your relationship cause you to overeat? Does lack of sleep or low energy prevent you from exercising? Are you doing the right type of exercise for your body? Do you practice self-care? We’ll look at how all areas of your life are connected and where there may be imbalances a more nourishing routines that promote your long-term success.

Once we’ve created a solid foundation through nourishing foods and routines, we’ll create a pathway to look at where fear and negative thought patterns maybe holding you back in your life. Uncertainty causes fear and when we feel uncertain, we often retreat and play it small to create a feeling of being safe. This cycle plays itself out over and over again yet it doesn’t lead us to safety. It often creates more fear, leaves us feeling stuck and disconnected from our true source of happiness. We’ll look at areas of your life where you may be feeling stuck and playing it small and we’ll create a pathway where you can gradually begin to release the fear and control cycle to create more happiness and joy in your life. You’ll learn to live wildly free.

Lasting lifestyle changes do not happen overnight and the 6-month program presents the opportunity for you break old patterns and replace them with new routines that support the life you envision for yourself. Each six month program includes two 50-minute one-on-one sessions per month, handouts and personalized notes, bi-weekly goals and customized recommendations, e-mail support, personalized recipes and easy meditations.

The seasonal detox is a virtual self-guided cleanse done on your schedule and at your convince and includes a suggested 14-day meal plan, shopping list, recipe guide, and self-care practices to promote the removal of toxins for the body. Each package also includes two individual private 30-minute Skype or phone sessions and unlimited email access to me.
